MAYAN CHOCOLATE

The Mayans are widely believed to be the first culture to discover and use the cacao tree, which led to the creation of the earliest form of chocolate. The Mayans, who lived in Mesoamerica from 250–900 AD. The Mayans would pour the mixture from one pot to another to create a thick, foamy drink that they consumed during special occasions like war, harvests, and funerals. They also considered chocolate to be a drink of the gods.  We take our Mexican single origin coffee and carefully flavor it with our Mayan chocolate.  This is great for any occasion and can also be enjoyed with a dash of chilli flakes for a more authentic drink.
